Adam first picked up the guitar at the age of 9. Since that point he has completed a degree in Music Performance at Perth College (where he was awarded student of the year for two consecutive years), performed on the most respected stages in the country and contributed to TV and radio broadcasts. He began playing the mandolin in 2005, being inspired by the mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile.

Alongside performing commitments he also teaches guitar part-time in the schools around Perth and Kinross.
